MicroBless, a forward-thinking company dedicated to herbal wellness and health, is seeking a Part-Time Project Manager to lead the launch of our new herbal wellness and health product line in Canada and the US. This exciting role requires a results-driven individual with proven experience in regulatory compliance, manufacturing coordination, and successful product launches.

Role Overview:

As a Project Manager at MicroBless, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful launch of our herbal wellness and health products. Your responsibilities will encompass regulatory compliance, manufacturing coordination, budget management, and cross-functional collaboration. Success in this position involves meticulous planning, effective communication, and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Compliance: Research and compile a comprehensive report on regulatory requirements in Canada and the US to ensure compliance throughout the product launch.
  • Product Testing and Formulation: Develop a testing plan and oversee the testing process to ensure safety and quality compliance. Collaborate with formulation experts to finalize product formulations meeting regulatory standards.
  • Manufacturing Coordination: Identify and connect with potential manufacturing partners. Facilitate communication and coordination with selected manufacturers.
  • Cost Breakdown and Options: Break down manufacturing costs and present cost-effective options. Evaluate raw material and packaging alternatives for cost efficiency.
  • Labeling and Packaging: Develop compliant product labels and packaging that align with regulatory standards and market expectations.
  • Permits and Certifications: Identify and initiate the process for obtaining necessary permits and certifications for the product launch.
  • Legal Compliance: Collaborate with legal experts to ensure compliance with intellectual property laws and trademarking.
  • Budget Management: Develop and present a comprehensive budget covering testing, certification, labeling, legal consultation, manufacturing, and other expenses.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Establish regular communication channels and provide project updates. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for a successful product launch.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a project manager in launching herbal wellness or dietary supplement products.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements for herbal products in Canada and the US.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to connect with and evaluate potential manufacturing partners.
  • Familiarity with Health Canada regulations and FDA regulations for dietary supplements.
  • Experience with budget management for product launches.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification: A valid PMP certification is required.
